Flotsam and jetsam that had once had a life as part of a man made construction that had been washed into the sea, to be re-deposited onto the beach by longshore drift and tidal flow, were collected over a two month period. Silhouettes of each object were paired with chintz fabric dating from past periods of storm and high tides to create a series of detailed watercolour paintings.
